Draft National AI Act — Parliamentary Submission

Risk-based AI Act drafted with multi-stakeholder consultation (civil society, industry, academia, judiciary). Parliamentary submission by Q4 2026.
Bangladesh National AI Standards v1.0 Published
NAISB

MoA Crop Yield AI Advisory — 8 Divisions Pilot

IT Sector Emergency Reskilling — Cohort 1

Parliament — National AI Act
Independent regulator with 50 technical staff. Licensing high-risk AI systems. Citizens' complaint mechanism. First annual State of AI report published.

1,000 H100-equivalent GPUs operational at BAIRI facility. Available to universities, startups, and government ministries at subsidised rates. Powers BanglaBERT 2.0 and BanglaSTT training.

Open-source Bangla language model trained on 50B tokens. BanglaOCR at 98%+ accuracy for printed text. Freely available to all developers. West Bengal collaboration on training data.
